Why is this tea special?

Ten Mile Tea Farm partners with select farms in Yunnan's Xi Shuang Ban Na (西双版纳) and Lin Cang (临沧) areas historically famous for pu erh tea, to source our raw tea leaves. Our High Mountain Gu Shu ("Ancient Tree") variety is harvested from trees that are over 100 years old in the nutrient-rich high mountains of Yunnan, giving the tea greater nutritional properties.

Each batch is dried, rolled, mixed, fermented and stamped into cakes using our traditional and prioperatary preparation process to ensure the best flavor and aroma for our Ten Mile pu erh tea cakes and mounds.

Flavor and aroma profile

Ten Mile pu erh tea has a woody aroma with a pure, earthy flavor and has numerous health benefits. As a result of its growing environment environment, our High Mountain Gu Shu tea produces an even greater aroma and flavor than our traditional pu erh tea. Because of the high quality of leaves and our proprietary mixing process, our tea maintains its flavor across many steeps and, unlike other teas, will become more flavorful as it it stored for longer. A 356g cake such as this one will last hundreds of brews.
